McFarlane Toys Releases "New" Hawkgirl Figure

 

 McFarlane Toys 7" DC Collector Edition 80s Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy And Hawkgirl First Look

    McFarlane Toys announced on June 25 that they would be releasing a Golden Age-era (sort of) version of Hawkgirl, along with Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy! They are currently on sale at Walmart. This version has one of Hawkgirl's Golden Age costumes, but the head is still Kendra, not Shiera. It looks like they just repainted the figure and didn't do much else.

   Still, in Hawkworld we can't be choosy, and at least they are putting out something. I hope they will turn their eyes to the current Hawks someday soon. The current Hawkman first appeared in 2018 and hasn't had a single figure or toy released yet. Hawkwoman appeared the next year and still has not seen anything. Hawkgirl also reappeared in her current look in 2018, but none of the figures released resemble that look. I would be very interested in asking someone at McFarlane why the Golden Hawkgirl has Kendra's head, why the most recent Hawkman had the Silver Age Hawkman with the 90's head, and if they have any plans to release the current versions. 

   So Hawkfans, what do you think? Is this a must-have for your collection?
