DC Comics Solicitations September 2026 for Hawkman and Hawkgirl

    DC Comics' solicitations for September 2026 have been released. There were zero mentions of Hawkman, Hawkwoman, or Hawkgirl in any of the current issues, but I managed to find Hawkman on a couple of covers and a double-mention of a Hawkman comic in a DC Finest book. Also, there was no mention of him, but Absolute Hawkman's recent appearances are in Absolute Superman. Wish there was more to report, but that's it for September. The wait continues. Keep soaring, Hawkfans! 

 

DC Special #5 Facsimile Edition 
Release Date: September 16

DC fails to mention it here, so I'll do the honors. These issues will include Absolute Hawkman's origin and his battles with Superman and Black Adam.

Note: The Hawkman series from the mid 80s (The Shadow War of Hawkman and Hawkman Vol. 2) has never been collected in any way, but Hawkman #5-6 shows up here. This is a bit concerning because it could mean that DC Comics is only going to release it in bits and pieces and not completely collect in one volume. Let's hope that's not the case. 

Justice League of America: The Bronze Age Omnibus Vol. 4
Release Date: November 17

This fourth volume of adventures continues Gerry Conway’s tenure writing for the world’s greatest superheroes. Collects Justice League of America #183-206, tie-in stories from Wonder Woman #291-293, The New Teen Titans #4, The Fury of Firestorm #4, The Flash #289-293, Action Comics #534-535, and the Secret Origin of the Justice League minicomic that was sold exclusively through the Leaf Candy Company!

Note: Hawkman and Hawkgirl are in a few of the JLA issues.
