Dear DC Finest / DC Comics! Collect these Hawkman/Hawkgirl Books!

Dear DC Finest / DC Comics Hawkman still has a ton of stuff that has never once been collected in any form. Flash Comics: 104 stories (Archives Editions went up to #22 and stopped there.) The Atom and Hawkman #38-45 (only black and white) Detective Comics: Between 1972 and 1981, there were 7 new stories (plus 4 reprints) as back up features. Showcase presents Hawkman #101-103 (never collected) World's Finest Comics: Between 1978-1982, there were 24 new stories. (never collected) All-Star Squadron (never collected) The Shadow War of Hawkman (plus 1986 Special) (never collected) Hawkman Vol. 2 (plus Action Comics #588) Hawkworld #1-3 Hawkworld Vol. 2 #1-32 (plus 3 annuals) (never collected) Hawkman Vol. 3 #1-33 (plus 2 annuals) (never collected) Legend of the Hawkman #1-3 JSA Vol. 1 Hawkman Vol. 4 #1-49 (#26-36 has never been collected) Hawkgirl Vol. 1 #50-66 So much really good Hawkman and Hawkwoman out there! Looking for forward to picking up the DC Finest issues with these books!

DC Finest Looking Good on the Shelf!

   I finally dove into the DC Finest books and I've got my first two; Hawkman Wings Across Time and Team-Ups Chase to the End of Time. They are looking good on the shelf! There are five more books on their way and I can't wait to read these stories again!

Review of DC Finest Hawkman Wings Across Time

 My copy of DC Finest Hawkman Wings Across Time finally arrived today and I LOVE it! Every Hawkfan should pick this up! 

DC Finest Trade Paperbacks: Finding the Hawkman/Hawkgirl Books

   DC Comics announced a new line of trade paperbacks last year, and the DC Finest series has been releasing about three books a month now for almost a year. The first Hawkman book was released in August and the general reception of the books by comics fans seems to be good. Not only are they barraging us with their Trinity but the other heroes are also getting some books out there so this is definitely a step in the right direction. I'm going to start a DC Finest watch for Hawkman books for the blog so if you are looking for the DC Finest books with Hawkman and/or Hawkgirl click the logo below in the right column of the desktop version of the blog and it will bring you back to this page. 

   Hawkman Book Two has not been announced yet. Will we get a second book that completes Hawkman Vol. 1? That probably depends on how well the first book sells. So get out there and pick it up, Hawkfans!
