Last month, DC announced a new event called DC K.O, a tournament-style competition where heroes go up against each other to determine who will go up against Darkseid. Or something like that. The 32 heroes in the draw were announced and Hawkman (no Hawkgirl or Hawkwoman) was announced. Personally, I'm kind of burnt out on heroes against heroes and big crossovers but since Hawkman is involved, let's follow it and see what happens. The full draw was released and we found out who Hawkman's 1st round opponent is.

Hawkman will be going up against Conner Hawke. Conner Hawke is the son of Green Arrow (who is not in the tournament) and he basicaly has all the same skills and abilities of his father. To be honest, I don't expect Hawkman to get very far in this thing. By straight up powers and abilities, Hawkman should have no problem with Hawke, but this is DC so it's anything is possible. If Hawkman does make it out of the 1st round, he'll face the winner of Aquaman vs. King Shark.
Are you guys up for this event? I'm keeping an ear to the ground and a wing to the sky to follow what happens but...no expectations whatsoever. The event starts in October.
