DC Comics August 2025 Solicitations for Hawkman and Hawkgirl

DC Comics' solicitations for August 2025 are out. I managed to find three comics with the Hawks. If I come across more, I'll add them to the list.

What secrets lie within Blackhawk Island? Can the JSA uncover them before the Injustice Society burns the island and its mysteries with it?!

This one caught my interest with the reference to Blackhawk Island. Back in Metal No. 1 (October 2017), we found out that Hawkman was the leader of the Blackhawks while he was investigating the Dark Multiverse. On Blackhawk Island, there was even a golden statue of him. Kendra (who suddenly returned after completely disappearing for 8 years) called him "a great detective of history." Could this still be canon in the current DC Universe? It's never been mentioned again since then, but with a variant cover featuring Hawkman, I'm wondering...

That's it for this month! The wait for a Hawkman book is quickly approaching 5 years (Nov.). Continuing to hope that we get something before the year is out.
