Random thoughts of a Hawkfan #251105
With Nth metal, Hawkman can go on for days, even weeks without sleep.
Hawkman is the expert pilot, while Hawkwoman is the expert mechanic.
Hawkman's favorite food is sandwiches. He also loves a good Baby Ruth.
Hawkman's alter ego is Dr. Carter Hall, an expert archaeologist and historian recognized worldwide by museums and scholars.
Hawkman has many friends, the Atom, Adam, Strange, the Shade, Barry Allen, among others.
Hawkman and Hawkman's love for each other is so powerful, the remains of Prince Khufu and Chay-ara are part of the power source of the Zamarons' power battery.
Hawkman and Hawkwoman are not bound by destiny. Their love empowers the reincarnation cycle.
When or if you want to try and fight Hawkman and Hawkwoman, you have your work cut out for you. They will come at you with fists, kicks, and wings that defend and attack, all while there is a mace coming at you from another direction. I haven't even mentioned their countless combat techniques.
The current hawkgirl has been romantically connected to the Martian Manhunter. Different versions of them in another dimension even had a son. Currently, Kendra is attached or interested in no one, apparently. DC can satisfy quite a few fans with a Kendra-John Stewart relationship.
Hawkman has an Nth metal rod on the side of his belt. When he grabs it, it will form into a mace, sword, spear, ax, or shield. Cue the lightsaber sounds when he forms a weapon.
When the original writers created their superheroes, each hero had a theme. Hawkman is/was flight. Superman was strength. Batman was gadgets. Flash was speed. Aquaman was water. Green Lantern was magic. They all had their own personal niche. Hawkman was flight. That's what he symbolizes.
If I were to write Hawkman, Hawkman's logo wouldn't just be a hawk. It would stand for clarity and vision. Reincarnation would not confuse him or cause him to lose purpose. It would reinforce his belief that he is on the right path. If he has questions, he will search until he finds the answer.
Hawkman and Hawkwoman's past lives give them a bond between each other and in understanding of the universe that most other superheroes could not even comprehend. The massive scale of their history is too often overlooked.
