The second season of Peacemaker started on August 21, and in the first three minutes, the DCEU finally got totally wiped out with a rewrite scene.

In one of the final scenes of Season 1, Peacemaker runs into Superman, Aquaman, Flash, and Wonder Woman. In the rewritten scene, he is now seeing Mr. Terrific, Superman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Supergirl.
Even though it has been almost three years without a single rumor or hint of some kind of comeback, I still hope for at least the Justice Society (Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone, Atom Smasher) from the Black Adam movie to be brought into the DCU. But the further time passes, and the more we see of the new DCU, it looks fainter every day. Some may say to let it go already but Hawkfans have a little less to go on or hope for than BAtfans, Supesfans, or even Aquafans, so many of us hang on to slivers of hope as long as we can. At least we got some form of a Gunn-style of Hawkgirl, but as for Hawkman, we'll keep waiting and hoping for the best I suppose. Until we don't anymore.
