   Superman has finally been released and the reviews and reactions are coming in! I have a collection of Hawkgirl news that I collected from when they announced Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl (click here), but I am in the process of collecting the reviews and reactions of the fans and critics here. Hawkworld Review of Superman (2025) 

Here is what we DID get. She is a badass fighter, has a kind of friendship with the other Justice GANG members, has organic wings that go in and out, and her mace is pretty awesome. She hangs out at the Hall of Justice, waiting for orders from Max Lord I guess. And she kills.

While Hawkgirl wasn't in Superman a ton, she left a lasting mark on the film with her punch-first-ask-questions-later attitude and her unique fighting style. Each member of the Justice Gang brought something distinct to the film, with Hawkgirl’s wings being a nice visual treat for long-time DC fans.

Kendra Saunders is a member of the Justice Gang, a three-turned-four-member band of superheroes who operate under the purview of Maxwell Lord. Although she isn't fleshed out in the space of Superman, Saunders is traditionally a reincarnated Thanagarian (a winged alien race) with a standard smattering of superpowers, including super strength, super speed, and, of course, flight.

Armed with her powerful Thanagarian mace, which is indestructible, she flies around with her organic wings to prove why she’s the most ruthless member of the Justice Gang. Hawkgirl has incredible speed, which she uses to reach foreign countries with ease to terrorize those who would do harm on the innocent. Aiding her flight is her mace and super strength, which allows her to practically brutalize anyone who dares worship evil's might.
