What the Thanagarian Snare Beast is this? I just came across Bleeding Cool's article about the aftermath of DC K.O. (hating that event more and more) and saw this. Can someone who actually reads Justice League Unlimited explain this to me?
Also, last I checked, Hawkman's wings are Nth metal. They can block fire, lasers, and bullets. They don't burn.
If anyone knows the details of this story, let us know in the comments.

Idk, I read a couple reviews to see what people were saying about the issue, but not a one mentioned this scene. The last time we saw Carter/Katat attempt to burn the Hawkman suit, the Nth metal reacted negatively and "went" inside of him, becoming some kind of living armor, almost like a symbiote. It was in Savage Hawkman #1, so who the hell knows.
ReplyDeleteYeah, he tired, but it didn't work. You can't burn Nth metal. Unless you're a writer who doesn't bother with details of characters who aren't in the Trinity.
DeleteOkay, you might have read it, or someone explained on the Facebook/Discord group. but i am catching up after a few months of not checking the blog, so...
ReplyDeleteBasically, the different people who were part of the Fight to become the god of the "main" Earth the way darkseid is the embodiment of the Absolute Universe all received visions of things they *should* do for the survival of the universe. (It's presumed it might be superman-turned-spirit.) Might be twists coming.
Most folks have logical demands (Victor must create the techno-utopia the heart of Apokalips showed him, Aquaman must unite the sea kingdoms, Lex must help to the betterment of the Justice league).
Carter was told to get rid of Nth Metal? Maybe??? Like, I think this is metaphorical fire, and he must get rid of the metal because of the Horus retcon, but like?? WHAT?? Is it another attempt from DC to get rid of him?
